What Is Colorplan Paper?
Colorplan paper is a wide range of premium acid-free colored papers. With the option of 55 colors and 10 different stock weights, this paper selection is an incredible tool for designers. The subtle vellum texture gives the paper a high-quality look and feel, allowing for fantastic flexibility and making it easily foldable. Made in a sustainable way in Great Britain, colorplan paper is FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also fully recyclable, biodegradable, and heavy metal-free.
Creating Fetch Business Cards
When creating the marketing material for the Fetch — a unique retail experience in Denver — Audrey Elise opted for the bright, bold, and beautiful colorplan business cards. Inspired by seasonal markets in Denver, the array of colorplan colors provided the basis for a fantastic palette for the Fetch business cards.
With the option of 55 colors and 10 different stock weights, colorplan paper is an incredible tool for any designers.
Variety in color was vital for this business card, so we needed to use all colorplan stocks. Each Fetch business card was made with a different color, and the middle layer of this 3ply card brought in an additional color. Colorplan paper colors used included Citrine Orange. Factory Yellow, Saphrine Blue, Powder Green, and China White. Due to its being a 3ply card, it has a thickness of 54pt, making it visually appealing, robust, and sturdy.
To elevate the simple design, foil printing and white screenprint were used. Impressions into the colorplan paper were created using foil printing, while the screenprint technique created a vertical bar where the contact information is displayed. Using the beautiful design by Audrey Elise and a variety of colorplan paper options and print processes to match the seasonal palette, the final business card effectively embodied the fun and festive atmosphere of the Fetch retail experience.
